Hidden at the back of the property, Mel-Tone has a further outbuilding. This contains a fully equipped rehearsal studio (also the drum workshop). Contained therein is a vocal Pa system with vocal mics, 2 guitar amplifiers, Bass Amp and 5-piece drum set (although drummers are asked to provide their own crash cymbals). Basically you can just walk in with your guitars, plug in and play!  Availability and pricing is currently as follows:

Mon, Tue & Thur 9.00-4.00 & 8.00-10.00 (Peak)

Wed 9.00-3.30 & 8.00-10.00 (Peak)

Fri 9.00-4.00 & 4.00-10.00 (Peak)

Sat & Sun 9.00-12.00 & 12.00-10.00 (Peak)

Individuals wishing to book the room can take advantage of HALF PRICE bookings at off peak times.

Provisional bookings can be made by phone, email or in store.  Payment will be taken upon collection of the keys.  A £10 deposit will also be required which will be refunded when the keys are returned. 

Customers are asked politely to allow the previous band/teacher to leave before entering the room.  Then to leave promptly at the end of your session ensuring that the room is left in the condition in which you found it.
